kapan ya terakhir gue update blog ini? 23 Oktober 2013.. It was 6 months ago. hahaha, lama banget ya udah lama gak update blog ini. Well, gue mau cerita mengenai apa sih yang bikin gue sibuk banget akhir-akhir ini. here we go.
Kuliah (lagi)
tahun lalu, tepatnya, gue memutuskan untuk kuliah lagi. this is not soooo easy to decide. karena, ketika gue sudah memutuskan untuk kuliah lagi, maka gue sudah harus paham konsekuensinya. Pertama, ya jelas lah gue harus mengimbangi pikiran, otak, dan hati gue antara kerja dan kuliah S2. men, gak gampang ya ternyata menjalankan keduanya dengan seimbang. Seimbang bukan berarti gue kerja weekdays dan kuliah saat weekend. gak semudah itu, ternyata. ini semua tentang bagaimana gue bisa belajar manajemen waktu antara kerja, kuliah, istirahat, hangout sama temen-temen, dan waktu buat keluarga. Manajemen waktunya pun bisa dimulai dari hal kecil, misalnya gimana caranya gue bisa tetep produktif dan efisien dalam bekerja di kantor dari pagi sampai sore, namun malam harinya gue disibukkan dengan menyicil tugas kuliah. bagaimana caranya emosi gue juga terjaga saat gue bekerja dengan super hectic di kantor, namun gue akan menghadapi ujian pula di kampus. Bisa dibayangkan betapa hati dan otak gue bisa naik turun super cepat dalam waktu yg singkat? Kedua, tak lain dan tak bukan adalah masalah materi. Dikarenakan gue kuliah lagi dengan biaya sendiri dan mendapat bantuan pinjaman dari ortu, maka grafik pengeluaran dan pendapatan gue menjadi kacau. Tapi bersyukur sih masih bisa ada yang ditabung. Tapi tetep aja grafiknya sangatlah fluktuatif. Sampai pada akhirnya, oke gue memutuskan untuk mulai memangkas waktu dan uang aktifitas yang berbau hedonisme. bahkan gue udah berbulan-bulan gak menginjakkan kaki di bioskop loh. bahkan gue rela deh gak ngerencanain liburan indah dengan biaya sendiri. Ya kalo pun mau liburan sama keluarga aja, hehehehehehe, tipikal anak manja.
that's a little glimpse of my life recently! hidup gue akhir-akhir ini bisa dibilang kayak rollercoaster. mulai dari kerjaan yang makin menggila dan makin seru, belum lagi meeting to meeting, dan dinamika pekerjaannya. But, that's how life goes on, we can't do nothing unless we take action, pray, and face all the problems out there. believe me, what I'm doing right now is not something useless for the next 5 or even 10 years later, I believe Insya Allah I would have an amazing life in the next future. amin.

I LOVE ANIMALS SO MUCH
" Kita harus menyayangi hewan, apapun hewan itu, karena hewan juga ciptaan Tuhan dan mereka punya hak hidup "- my dad.
Those words above were said by my father to me and my sister. Since I was kid, maybe 3 years or 4 years old, me and my sister have been taught about animal by our father. His words are always be our reminder to do not something bad with the animals around us. He always teaches us how to care with animals from the tiniest one to the biggest one.
You know what the eff
ect from his words for me? When I was kid, I often used to follow and to observe the habit of ANT! Yep, ANT! Oh, please, I hope you, my readers, will not to laugh at me while reading this. I love ant. I used to be curious about what ant will do next. I used to like following ant. I used to like observing the activities of ant every day! Is it a nerd and a weird routinity? My father said NO. He said my unusual routinity was good at that time. My grandpa added that my daily routinity could be good for my knowledge. Additionally, my grandfather, who taken care of me, supported me to do observing the activities of ant.
In the backyard, I used to observe in every hole where ants must be there. After school, I used to go to the backyard to see what they do. After having lunch or dinner, I even used to share a bit of food to those ants! Sooooo funny, hah? The most thing I love from ants is they live communally. In other words, they always work together for their groups, especially gathering the food. Unfortunately, my father didn't capture any photos of me together with ants. By photos, I need a real evidence to support me that I ever was the biggest fan of ants. hehehe.
Well, that's a bit unknown fact from me. None of my friends knows this fact. Only my family do know this. I can say that ant is unique animal yet so cute! Besides ant, I found other odd animals but they are too cute not to be loved. I found them on National Geographic. Thank you dad, you always remind us not to miss all their programs about animal life. Here they are..

Aardvarks, Orycteropus afer, only can be found in Southern Africa
As you see that animal above, it seems like kangaroo and pig, doesn't it? Aardvarks seems like a kangaroo because of its tail. And it seems like a pig because of its longer nose than the real pig. Oh, one more thing, it seems like rabbit, look at its ears! so cute!

Black-Footed Ferrets, mustela nigripesUnfortunately, the population of black-footed ferrets is getting more declined now. I read from National Geographic that the protection status is endangered.. :(
They look like strange but so cuteee, don't they? Keep preserving our animals for a better habitat! :)

After my graduation day
Gutten morgen, everyone! I hope you all would have a great week which starts from today, yeah, you may say: "I love Monday!". Because, when you say that you love Monday, it'll be so fun to cheer your day up.
It's been more than three weeks that I never share and write any things in my own blog. I don't have any special stories to share with, even if I feel my life is colourful and full of special things indeed (let me say that I'm lazy to think and write, LOL).
Since I was graduated from college, I'm still applying for a job, going for an interview, having an english course, and praying to Allah SWT for all the best things. Not hectic, not busy, just a simple schedule to fulfil my days. My graduation day was not a kind one. The most important thing in my graduation day is my family. I was very happy to give the best gift to my family, that's all.
My father said: "This is your first step into the real world, you have to be strong to face, to struggle, and to prove that you're gonna be the number one in your family". It's so simple to hear what my father said three weeks ago, isn't it?
Well, i'll be having an interview (again) tomorrow. I was called from another magazine last week, so I wish that I could start for work in the end of this month (amien!).
To all my friends who has just graduated:
"Congratulations guys! Life has just begun. I wish that we could get success, amien".

Terima Kasih
Hello all!
It has been almost two months that I never update my blog since I was kinda busy to finish my thesis, then it's finally done! Alhamdulilah.. terima kasih ya Allah. While I was waiting the judgement day, I was still preparing for the presentation and praying to Allah SWT. I'm wishing everything is worthed, ya Allah.
Karena terbatasnya halaman kata pengantar di dalam skripsi, jadi, saya mutusin buat ngucapin rasa terima kasih melalui blog dan note di facebook untuk semua teman-teman yang telah ngebantuin saya, ngecengin saya, berantem ma saya, nolongin saya, dan sering ngasih nasehat ke saya selama kurang lebih hampir 4 tahun di Unas. Hehehehe
Hmm.. banyak banget kejadian, peristiwa, cerita, dan hal-hal seru mulai dari yang baik sampai yang buruk di Unas. Hmm.. terlalu banyak waktu yang saya lewati bersama kawan-kawan di Unas, dan semua cerita atau kejadian tentu sangat berarti bagi saya dalam menjalani hidup (halah, bahasanya..hihi).
To the point aja ye?Intinya, saya mau ngucapin terima kasih buat semua teman-teman yang udah baik sama saya. Sebab, kalian semua banyak memberikan inspirasi buat saya!
Selain keluarga dan sahabat-sahabat saya sejak SMA, Terima kasih buat:
1) teman-teman jurusan ilmu komunikasi angkatan 2005, khususnya program studi, Jurnalistik 2005! wuidih, kalian emang keren banget! solidaritasnya tinggi banget! saya gak akan pernah lupa saat kunjungan ke majalah Aneka Yess, kalian malah lebih memilih naik sebuah bis metro mini, padahal jumlah kita melebihi kapasitas metro mininya, huahaha, THX BGT saya semua udah rela panas2an dan keringet2an! Unfortunately, I wasn't taking any pictures when we went there by metro mini. :'(
2) buat UKM Wretta Aksa (UKM Fotografi dan Jurnalistik) tercinta, khususnya angkatan 3, Makasih banget udah ngasih banyak pelajaran ke saya dalam kurun waktu hampir 4 tahun ini. Di Wretta Aksa, saya bisa menerima dan mempelajari baik perbedaan maupun permasalahan yang saya hadapi. Mulai dari jadi AM, bikin pameran AM, kemudian jadi AP, terus buat pameran bersama, hingga akhirnya muster (musyawarah tertinggi). Tapi yang paling penting, saya menemukan arti penting sahabat dari dua orang, walaupun saya tahu bahwa saya sendiri terkadang susah dalam memahami arti persahabatan. Terima kasih!
3) kepada teman-teman Himakom periode 2007/2008 , terima kasih karena saya juga belajar menerima kritikan dan saran dari semua anggota dalam membantu kepengurusan saat itu. Satu hal yang bisa saya pelajari dari Himakom ketika masa2 akhir kepengurusan, hmm.. banyak banget hal2 yang bisa saya jadikan pelajaran hidup untuk bertahan di dalam sebuah situasi apa pun. Thx ya semuanya!
4) kepada teman-teman kuliah lainnya mulai dari semester 1 sampe semester akhir ini yang saya gak bisa nyebutin namanya satu per satu, karena, saya cuma bisa nge-tag kalian semua di dalam note facebook, makasih udah ngajarin saya banyak hal yang mungkin belum tentu saya temuin di luar sana.
Sekali lagi, makasih banyak atas semuanya. Walaupun saya dan kalian akan menghadapi sidang skripsi, tapi bukan berarti ini semua akhir dari kesuksesan, justru momen ini merupakan awal untuk menggapai dan mencari kesuksesan bagi diri kita masing-masing.

all the things related with thesis
Hello everyone! Hopefully, This post could be useful for anyone who starts to do thesis (baca: skripsi). Are you in the last semester? Have you finished your thesis? If you haven't finished your thesis and still confused to manage, let me give some tips how to face all the problems while you are finishing your thesis.. okey? Here are the tips. 1) Make your desk (or room) tidier. Why do you need to make tidier? Yeaa.. if your desk is so untidy, you won't have a good mood to do your thesis. I'm really sure the condition of your desk (or room) would be influenced to get a better mood to do your thesis. Hehehe. ;)
2) Create your own calendar and make a target to get then. You have to create a calendar, since, the calendar makes you easier to remind much things, or the calendar makes you to get a target, for example:
- when the date you should meet your lecturer;
- when the date you should do your chapter per a day or a week;
- when the date you should bring your result of the chapter you did;
- also you need to know your improvement of the thesis by using a calendar. I suggest you to be discipline by finishing each of the chapters in a month, so you only need to finish in 4 or 6 months (like me..hihi), you must do that!
4) Read more books than usual you read. When you're still finishing thesis, you should look for more books to be your reference in thesis. I suggest you to go any libraries that you like, after that you read any books which is related to your topic in thesis. Because, based on my experience, you would never know the theories or how to analyze the topic, if you never read and learn from any books! Still remember about this proverb : Buku adalah jendela dunia.5) Pray to God. I know you're living in underpressure when you have to finish thesis as quickly as possible. So, don't forget to pray and wish all the problems would be fine. okay?

It's really nice to meet them!

Have you ever felt so happy in the class of your english course?
Have you ever felt satisfied with in the class of your english course?
I guess the answer is: Sometimes i've ever felt happy, satisfied, and enjoyed at my english course
I'm really love to learn much about foreign languages. Actually, i'm not really confident with my english, so i try to improve my English. And, i had a chance to join an english course at English First (EF). My best friend (Dian) and I are really wanted to improve our English in EF. Finally, we are enrolled together and of course, we are in the same class until now.
Now, we are in the fifth level (Pre-Intermediate). I'm really so glad to be a part of my class. My teacher, Emily, is really cheerful and outgoing person. She teaches us so well. She always makes us so amazing with her. She attractives us a lot. wow.. thanks for being our teacher!
In that class, there are less than 15 students. The students are me, Dian, Maura, Fika, Tami, Moniq, Tiffany, Rais, Joseph, Gorby, Febri, and Aldi. I'm really enjoy to study with them. It's really so nice to meet them for twice a week. The class is so fun!

HIGHER EDUCATION = HIGHER INCOME??
During the week, i didn't update my blog, because I had a busy week.
Last Saturday (November, 22), I attended a talkshow which talks about “Higher Education = Higher Income” in Tarumanegara University. Firstly, I would like to thank my best friend, Dian, because she invited me to attend this talkshow. I was so happy to attend that talkshow. Well, the speakers are, Mr. Monty (as the Rector of Tarumanegara University), a teacher of Wall Street Institute (I forget his name, hehe, so sorry), Mr. Ruben Urresola (as Asian Operation of Gestamp Tooling Services), and the moderator is Indah Pelapory (1st runner up Miss Indonesia 2008).
From the talkshow, i can motivate myself to get the most suitable job. The most suitable job doesn't mean we get a job with so much salary. But if we found a job which we could love, enjoy, and get some money, then we could manage the salary as well as possible, so it means we found the most suitable job.
To get the most suitable job, we should have a post graduate degree like a master or diploma. Besides higher education, we should improve our skills in the spesific areas which relate to the job that we're looking for. The skills could be a hard skill or soft skill. The skills could be an organization experience in the college. We could be part of a committee in an organization or maybe join some competition that we want. Well, we must be an active student. Not a passive. Oya, when we're still in the college, try to get some achivements, either academic or non-academic.
And we should get lots of work experience to support the credibility of our CV (curriculum vitae). Then, when we're having an interview, we should have a good appearance. Talking about a good appearance, it's not just well-dressed, but also ability, capability, and character of ourself. We should perform well. Hum.. we need to change ourself to develop a good interpersonal skills, so that the company would be interested in us.
I'm really sure if we have good personal, skills, work experiences, and higher education, WE COULD GET THE MOST SUITABLE JOB and of course, A HIGHER INCOME.
Note: But, if we find a job, don't forget to manage the salary to fulfil what we need in our life..hehehehe
